There are two comics that I swear are the offspring of Calvin & Hobbes. "Get Fuzzy" has the edge (although sometimes inconsistant) whilst "Frazz" captures the cute factor with it's drawing style and smart wit.</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">get fuzzy is great, i like the drawing style much---i've never read frazz

"Frazz" is a by a Michigan man Jef Mallet who's is starting to develop a following. It's about a janitor named Frazz who works at an elementary school. It exemplifies diversity with it's multi-cultural cast of students and staff. The kids tend to be too smart for their own good. Frazz, who has a thing for Miss Plainwell the 1st grade teacher, comes off as the witty conscience of the the staff & students. Moral lessons are often hidden within the gags. The drawing style is directly influenced by Calvin & Hobbes' Bill Watterson.
